BASKETBALL GAMES FOR
KIDS
Although it is true that if a player is really serious about
wanting to become
a
better basketball
player, the only motivation needed is the goal itself.
Hard work, daily consistency, and lots of persistence.
But...for young minds and hearts who are just starting out on
the wonderful but often hard road to fulfilling their dreams,
they need to have fun and lots of
it!
As
coaches and parents we have a responsibilty to show them the
love reaching for their dreams. Never make the game of
basketball, especially when it is tough, not to have something
fun come out of it. Take a skill or a drill that they need to
work on and make it a game. Either in competition with
someone else or with
themself.
